It’s commonly known that the beginning is the hardest. What was the hardest thing for you to overcome when starting at In Marketing We Trust?

The hardest thing was probably getting familiarised with the documentation and processes involved at In Marketing We Trust.

What motivated you to pursue a remote job?

Being a new mum recently and having to spend a lot of hours travelling to Sydney was a challenge. I already started working remotely in a previous Company in Sydney when Covid happened, and my work-life balance improved heaps. 🙂

Having a routine is very important and I highly recommend taking your time to stay away from the computer, even if you just go for a short walk or to the fridge to get a drink. It helps me keep my concentration at higher levels and get shit done more efficiently.

What is the most challenging part of your role?

Reaching clients’ business goals at all times is the most challenging part of my role. There are times that it’s challenging but with the help of the delivery team, it’s just a matter of readjusting the strategy to achieve the client’s KPIs.

What is the most rewarding part of your role?

When reporting great results achieved thanks to an amazing team of experts in their field that we have at In Marketing We Trust.

Your best tips for someone looking to start out in the client services world?

Get informed, read a lot and check what has been done in the past. For a Digital Marketing role, your mind needs to be curious and also updated at all times, as the industry does. You just have to learn from who’s mastering it and if you have the possibility, ask many many questions.
