Leticia Eroles - Celebrating Our Culture Heroes September 2021
10 min read

Each month we celebrate our culture heroes. Culture heroes are awarded by their peers during our fortnightly team meeting.

Then, each month on the blog we give them a shoutout and ask them a few questions about what it’s like working remotely for In Marketing We Trust.

Today we are celebrating 3 awesome team members: Selina, Leticia and Benoit for their ability to work ‘independently together’, ‘Get sh*t done’, and for their ‘dependability’, three of our core values.

Our Values

Selina

Today we’re celebrating Selina, our Head of Growth, as she is always dependable and has great insights and professionalism that she brings to our clients and the rest of the team. Thanks, Selina!

Selina Gough - Celebrating Our Culture Heroes September 2021

What is your best advice for being dependable in the workplace (to the point of being recognised for this superpower)?

Part of my role is to ensure that I’m available and accessible to my team and other streams to support them with providing the best experience to our clients (by quality and by performance). I do this by evaluating priorities of the team’s requests and ensuring that the most important and impactful delivery items are executed first by supporting the team.

Any tips for keeping yourself focused and delivering great results while working from home?

Always stay connected with the team – despite us working remotely, I ensure that I encourage ongoing communication with the team (whether it’s work related or just for fun) because it makes me feel like I’m actually in an office with my colleagues.

Could you briefly describe your main tasks and responsibilities?

My main responsibilities include refining IMWT’s growth product offering. This includes ensuring that our team are well supported and trained, they have access to the correct tools to be effective, the right SOP’s and frameworks to provide high-quality work to our clients.

Selina

How do you manage to juggle so many responsibilities and deadlines?

As mentioned earlier, it really comes down to prioritisation. My team and our clients come first in my eyes to whenever the team requires support or troubleshooting, I make sure that I have the headspace and availability to effectively support them.

Why do you like working at In Marketing We Trust?

I love working at IMWT because each team member has the opportunity to make their mark – we’re in a massive growth phase and the agency is being shaped and formed by each individual who is part of the team.

Leticia

Today we’re also celebrating Leticia, or Leti as she’s more commonly known amongst the team, for getting sh*t done. Leti has only been with us a few weeks and she’s already shown terrific organisational skills; she asks good questions about our accounts/processes and follows up on actions needed. Welcome to IMWT Leti!

What is your best advice to ‘Get Sh*t Done’ in the workplace (to the point of being recognised for this superpower)?

I apply to myself the saying ‘Don’t leave for tomorrow what you can do today’. Getting stuff done applies to anyone who does not like procrastination and has a resolutive mindset. Think about the solution rather than getting stuck in the WHO or the WHAT, that’s my recommendation.

Any tips for keeping yourself focused and delivering great results while working from home?

When you work, be 120% at work, even if it’s in your bedroom, the lounge room or the veranda. When it’s time for yourself, get out of the place, break up with the work mode to really disconnect and charge your batteries to be able to come back for more great work.

Could you briefly describe your main tasks and responsibilities?

As an Account Manager, my core responsibility is to build strong, long-term client relationships. The tasks I perform are based on understanding clients’ business goals and KPI’s and tracking them accordingly within the time requirements and the given budget.

How do you manage to juggle so many responsibilities and deadlines?

I like to have my responsibilities under control. I am an organised person and I work with a purpose. I normally work with a schedule I like to follow in order to accomplish my deadlines. I have to admit I like a challenge too. Give me a challenge and I will make it happen 🙂

Why do you like working at In Marketing We Trust?

Since day one I found the company very organised, with a great supportive onboarding path and amazing professionals who are always offering their hand for help. The work is fun and the client portfolio is great. For me, it was important to find a flexible workplace to combine career and family. I find that working at In Marketing We Trust I can have work-life balance and the company helps promoting and realising it.

Benoit

We are also celebrating Benoit today, everyone’s favourite Analytics guru and our Head of Digital Analytics. Benoit has been with In Marketing We Trust for over 6 years and is an integral part of the team.

Benoit Weber - Celebrating Our Culture Heroes September 2021

What is your best advice for being dependable in the workplace (to the point of being recognised for this superpower)?

Dependability is highly correlated with team spirit and care. Care of your clients, care of your teammates and care of your work. Consistency in your response is also key to dependability. People need to know that you will be helpful and deliver up to the expected standard (time and quality).

Any tips for keeping yourself focused and delivering great results while working from home?

It has been a real challenge during the pandemic. For months, Vietnam has been under a very strict lockdown. And I was forbidden to leave my house. To keep my focus and efficiency, I had to create my ‘Third place’ in my own house.

The third place is your social place, the place you go to resource yourself. It is the place you go when you need to go away from your two usual social environments of home (“first place”) and the workplace (“second place”). When you work at home, the 2 first spaces are already your house so I really needed to create a new dedicated place. I HAD TO get my escape space:

Benoit

I reorganised my garden and bought myself a kid’s swimming pool. Every time I had to, I went outside and had a bath.

Could you briefly describe your main tasks and responsibilities?

As head of analytics, I am responsible for the analytics stream but I am also delivering services for our clients. The main objective of the analytics stream is to help clients to report on their performance across the analytics and advertising tools they use.

Benoit Weber

How do you manage to juggle so many responsibilities and deadlines?

Good planning, good processes and good communication with your teammates/clients. If you have properly done this, juggling and switching from one client to another will no longer be a challenge.

Benoit

Why do you like working at In Marketing We Trust?

People is my number one reason. The team is what makes me like working at In Marketing We Trust. Even though the pandemic limited our movements and travels, the team managed to keep a certain level of proximity regardless of the distance that separates us.
